Terms of Service

1. About Cleenie

Cleenie is a business management platform for cleaning companies, operated by Cleenie Ltd ("Cleenie", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cleenie platform at cleenie.app. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Cleenie.
You must be using Cleenie for lawful business purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring all team members and users added to your account comply with these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share passwords.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately at support@cleenie.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription and payment

Cleenie is offered on a subscription basis. Plan details and pricing are displayed at sign-up and in your account settings.
Your free trial begins on registration. No payment is required during the trial period.
After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@cleenie.co.uk.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. You will be notified before any price change affects your subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Cleenie to:

Violate any law or regulation
Store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' data
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform
Use the platform in a way that could damage or overload our systems

6. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you input into Cleenie (customer records, job data, etc.).
By using Cleenie, you grant us the right to store and process that data to provide the service.
You can export your data at any time from your account settings.
On cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days before deletion. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We collect anonymised usage data (page views and feature interactions) via PostHog to monitor and improve the service. This data does not include customer names, job details, or payment information.

7. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will aim to give advance notice where possible.
We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual property

The Cleenie platform, brand, and all content we create are owned by Cleenie Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cleenie's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, with or without notice.
On termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Cleenie after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
